With location reminders, you never forget errands at the right place again. Define places like 'Supermarket' or 'Office' and CheckNotes automatically sends you a notification as soon as you enter or leave the area – energy-efficient and privacy-compliant.

Security is our top priority. CheckNotes relies on a 'Zero-Knowledge' architecture and end-to-end encryption for sensitive content. We do not collect unnecessary data, do not create movement profiles, and host our servers in the EU (GDPR compliant).

Yes, CheckNotes follows the 'Local-First' principle. You can create, edit, and check off tasks at any time – even in flight mode or without network. As soon as you are online again, the app automatically synchronizes your changes in the background.

You have full control. You can request a complete export of your data at any time or have your account including all data irrevocably deleted.

During onboarding, you set up CheckNotes so that it fits you perfectly: You choose e.g. routine templates, create your first lists and set reminders. This only takes a few minutes.

No. You can go through onboarding quickly and change everything later. CheckNotes is built so that you can start even with minimal setup.

You can select a matching role (e.g. pupil, student, professional). This gives you suitable suggestions for routines, lists and typical tasks – without having to start from zero.

Yes, anytime. You can edit, delete, pause routines or add new ones. Lists and settings are also flexibly customizable.

So that CheckNotes can support you reliably. But you decide for yourself if and when you want notifications – including quiet settings so it doesn't get annoying.

CheckNotes is deliberately structured clearly and step-by-step. Start small: 1–2 routines are enough. You can add more later when it feels stable.
