Set Priorities

CheckNotes can highlight important tasks and notes immediately and move them higher in the order. This keeps the most relevant items visible first.

How to activate priorities

Open a task or note

Open an existing item or create a new one. Priority is always set directly on the item itself.

Choose the priority

Tap the priority icon or open the “Set priority” option. Then choose the right level for your item.

Save and let CheckNotes sort it

Save the change. CheckNotes highlights the item and moves prioritized entries higher within the list.

Important to know

  • Priorities work without extra permissions and also offline.
  • The sorting change applies immediately in the current list once you save the priority.
  • If you also add a reminder, a very important item can be treated more preferentially.

How to get more out of priorities

Use priorities sparingly so that only the really important items stay on top.

Combine priority with a time reminder when something should not only be visible but also actively remind you.

Notes can also be prioritized if certain information should remain easy to find.
