Use Routines

Routines are meant for recurring workflows. CheckNotes can reuse templates, store repeat rules, and schedule matching reminders for you automatically.

How to set up routines

1

Choose a routine or template

Open the “Routines” area and start with an existing template or create a new routine yourself.

2

Define the rhythm

Set the days, time, interval, or time window. This tells CheckNotes exactly when the routine should appear and remind you.

3

Activate and check it off

Save the routine. It then appears in daily use and can also show up in your briefing. When you complete it, the status is saved locally right away.

So routines work reliably

  • Notifications must be allowed for routine reminders to appear.
  • Routines work offline as well and sync later when a connection is available.
  • Templates make the start faster, but every routine can still be fully customized afterward.

How routines become truly useful

Start with one or two routines instead of trying to map your entire day at once.

Use time windows when you want guidance without a rigid exact minute.

In the morning or evening briefing, routines appear together with normal tasks.
