Smart Reminders & Time Management

With CheckNotes, reminders are planned so they fit your day. Time reminders, repeat rules, and the notification limit work together so you get support instead of alarm overload.

How to set up the feature

1

Add a time to a task or routine

Open a task or routine and add a time, date, or repeat rule. This tells CheckNotes when the reminder should be planned.

2

Allow notifications

Confirm notification access in the app and your operating system. On mobile devices, an exact alarm permission can also help reminders arrive on time.

3

Let the reminder work in everyday life

Save your item. CheckNotes creates the reminder and shows it at the right time. If you use a daily reminder limit, later reminders are summarized in the briefing instead of flooding you.

What you should allow

  • βœ“Notifications must be allowed in the system, otherwise CheckNotes cannot show anything.
  • βœ“For minute-precise mobile reminders, some devices may require an additional alarm or battery exception.
  • βœ“Location-based triggers are configured separately through places and location reminders.

Useful combinations

Use repeat rules for daily or weekly items so you do not have to recreate them every time.

The notification limit helps prevent too many reminders per day and moves the rest into the briefing.

If something is critical, combine a time reminder with priority so it stays more visible.
